Hipped Roof House
A timber-frame house with a hipped roof that blends into the natural surroundings of Chichibu.
Natural light penetrates through the louvers into the spaces below the deep eaves on all four sides.
There are no structural walls, the cantilever beams create an engawa (veranda) area around the house.
